  • Vision Dance Encounter Donates to CNIB


    Vision Dance Encounter met with the CNIB this morning to donate the proceeds of the event to support those living with full and partial vision loss. Organizer Darius Zi spoke with CNIB staff about future plans to support the blind and the mission of CNIB through Vision and other dance avenues.

    Toronto mayoral candidate Olivia Chow attended the Vision Gala, and addressed the audience post-production with moving words about making a difference in the lives of the blind. Olivia Chow is a former Canadian New Democratic Party Member of Parliament, and former city councillor in Toronto. Vision Dance Encounter was fortunate to have such a philanthropic powerhouse in attendance supporting the cause!

  • “See Inside Me” Dance Production Debut

    Vision Dance Encounter-Vision Gala
    The “See Inside Me” Dance Production debut at Vision on May 17, 2014 to rave reviews. The audience was enthralled by the combination of dance, theatre and emotional journey that made “See Inside Me” a show never to forget!

  • Vision Dancer’s First Dance Congress

    Vision Dance Encounter 2014 was the first time Brandon, Ramya and George participated at a dance congress. After only four months of training, these Vision Dancers joined the dance community who gladly embraced them. They are the world’s first blind Brazilian Zouk dancers trained by coaches Darius Zi and Laura Riva of dZouk Productions.
